COATED BELT

Modifying the characteristics of base belts (timing belts, flat belts & conveyor belts) by applying one or more coatings and enabling infinite different designs for conveying applications. Specific properties such as high or low coefficient of friction, soft, hard or compressible can all be achieved with a backing. Using a thick backing affects the flexibility and hence the minimum pulley diameter, but slotting the backing can improve the flexibility. We can bond our backing materials to virtually any base belt for use as conveyor belts, haul-off belts, puller belts, forming belts and nesting belts. Haul off/puller belts are mainly used in the plastics and cable industries to pull extruded profiles

POLY V BELT

DESCRIPTION

Poly-V belts have triangular section longitudinal ribs. Thanks to the reduced thickness, these belts are very flexible and can be wind up on very small diameters. Poly-V belts can achieve higher peripheral speed than V-belts.

MODULAR BELT

DESCRIPTION

The positive drive mechanism of our modular belt conveyors makes them extremely reliable, even with unfavorable length/width ratios. They can also absorb lateral forces, allowing work pieces to be moved diagonally. A further benefit is that liquids from the product can drip through the chain. Belt tension gauges are used to properly check drive belt tension on drive belts to ensure maximum belt and bearing life.
